A video by Sam Beckett summarizes the new features expected for the iPhone 5.
The phone is drawn as accurately as possible, based on leaked dimensions. Some features such as the new dock connector and larger screen size are almost definitely likely to appear in the new iPhone 5. Other features are included only for concept purposes, such as ‘Fingerprint Scan to Unlock’.
Everything has been drawn and animated from scratch; from the icons, to the user interfaces and of course the hardware itself. I used a combination of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Apple’s Final Cut Pro X.
More case leaks have surfaced on the web today, and this time it is pre-production iPhone 5 and iPad mini cases.
The cases were obtained by reader at MacRumors, and show the iPhone 5 case, the iPad mini case, the iPhone 4S case and the iPad case all compared to each other. The cases were apparently created by case manufacturers based on leaked models out of Foxconn factories.
The photo does a great job showing the relative sizes of the various devices. The largest case in the back shows the size of the current 3rd Generation iPad. That iPad houses a 9.7″ diagonal display. The next smaller size case is for the rumored “iPad mini”. The smaller iPad is believed to have a 7.85″ screen with a smaller surrounding bezel while retaining the same aspect ratio and resolution (1024×768) of the iPad 2. Rou notes that the iPad mini headphone jack is positioned at the top of the case.
A new video has surfaced online showing redesigned headphones that will reportedly ship with the ‘iPhone 5′.
The headphones are said to be manufactured by Foxconn in Vietnam. Based on the build quality the site believes they are genuine.
The cable reads, “Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in Vietnam.”
Unfortunately, the Google Translation is poor; however, it appears that the sound quality is improved; however, the volume output is reduced.
The sound quality of his ears are better, clearer sound, more channels and separate a little but the volume was reduced compared to the old headset about 1-1.5 hiccups. New ear’s bass is more powerful than the old ears but maybe some of you will not be satisfied with the reduced volume as mentioned above.
Check out this video which purports to show the full assembled ‘iPhone 5′ for the very first time.
GSM Israel spotted the device inside a case at IFA 2012 in Berlin. The case manufacturer asked that their name not be revealed or shown in the video.
